Life is a Trumpet World Premiere at Warsaw Film Festival 2015

Antonio Nuic’s film, Life Is A Trumpet, world-premiered recently at the Warsaw Film Festival and will be released in Croatia on 1st December. It is a co-production between Croatia's Propeler Film, Slovenia's Staragara, Serbia's Baš Čelik, Montenegro's Artikulacija, and UK’s Film and Music Entertainment.

After Mariam made her short film Dinola in 2013, which was hugely successful winning many awards around the world, she and producer Vladimer Katcharava were invited by the Sundance Institute to attend their 2015 Screenwriter’s Lab. Where with lots of help and inspirational tutoring from famous film-makers such as Tobias Lindholm and Catherine Hardwicke, they finished the full length screenplay and started shooting.

In her first film outing since penning the Academy Award Winning screenplay of IDA, British writer Rebecca Lenkiewicz and AVE director Konstantin Bojanov’s feature film I Want To Be Like You, has begun shooting on location in London , prior to moving to Bulgaria, Belgium and back to London in October.

Surfing legend Robby Naish narrates PAUL – in Official Selection in San Sebastian

Produced by JaJa Film Productions in co-production with Arteffects, and executive produced by UK producer Mike Downey from Film and Music Entertainment. PAUL is a documentary film about a 13 year old boy from the Dunoon township in Cape Town, South Africa, named Paul. Paul has a dream, a dream he thinks about all day; he wants to be surfer. But boys from Dunoon township don’t surf.  There is no transportation to the beach and there is no money for equipment. Fortunately, there is a non-profit organization that picks up Paul to go surfing at the white beaches of Blouberg.

Pula Film Festival 2015

The Pula Film Festival took place from 18 to 26 July 2015 in the ancient roman city of Pula. The documentary film Streetkids United II - The Girls From Rio was selected for the Dizalica program (youth program) and the Street Child World Cup Photo Exhibit, shown at Galerija Makina, was also part of the official festival program. Streetkids United II - The Girls From Rio was also selected for the HT VOD platform MaxTV in Croatia and both the film and the exhibit received a fair share of publicity.
