When Jan’s father dies, he leaves him a small legacy of memories, and a mission: to find legendary dancer Josephine Baker, and bring her back to their Bohemian village. Jan heads for Hamburg not realizing that Josephine’s club there had been closed for forty years. After being taken in by a friendly pimp, Jan finds himself practically imprisoned in a brothel called Hollywood, a place where all the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of the mostly ex-communist dancers and hookers who live there, have been long trodden in the dust. That is until Jan shows up...
