Son of Man (Jezile) by Mark Dornford-May has proved as popular with worldwide festivals as Mark's first film U-Carmen ekhayelitsha and is so far to be screened at 15 festivals with yet more to be confirmed. The film made its worldwide debut at Sundance Film Festival where it was invited to compete in the World Cinema section. It won the prize for Best Film at the Los Angeles Pan African Film Festival. Now continues on to be screened at Karlovy Vary, Hamburg, Warsaw and Vancouver - and several others. Most recently it has been invited to Michael Moore's Traverse City Film Festival in Michigan.
